/mg/ whorrent Video Torrent for Male General

What is it?

The /mg/ "whorrent" is a community trackerless torrent of primarily amateur, male videos collected from various sites, personal cam captures, etc. Anyone can contribute (see below) in any way they wish or just download as little or as much of the torrent as they like.

What's the point if I can just download all of these videos from the sites themselves?

The point is to make a large collection of videos easily accessible without having to provide personal information to sites or mess with download scripts or URL decoders, etc. Also, some videos may no longer be available from certain sites, so you may be able to find something in the torrent you saw once but didn't download.

It's over 100 GB! I don't want that much or I just want one file or files from a certain site! Can't you just send me a specific file or two?

Most torrent programs offer the ability to only go after files or directories you specify by pausing files/directories you don't want. Please refer to your torrent program documentation for more detailed instructions. Unfortunately, we (the organizers) can't send you a particular file from the torrent, although someone might be nice and offer if you ask nicely.

The filenames don't make any sense! How can I know what's what?

Most of the filenames are generated (in some fashion) from the server from which the files were downloaded. Some are the exact filename as the file existed on the server at that time, some are combinations of the site name and the filename or description of the video, and some are just random. Unfortunately, many or all of these files change names as they propagate throughout the Internet, so, trying to figure out what the 'original' or 'unique' filename was (if the file even had one) would be nothing short of impossible.

Again, the purpose of the torrent is to provide the easiest access to the greatest amount of content. If you're only looking for videos from a hypothetical 'xyzguy', you may not find videos with 'xyzguy' in the filename, but they may be there under different names. There's nothing to stop you asking nicely in a forum post if anyone who's willing to help you search out xyzguy's videos and direct you to the files you want, though.

Okay, so, how and what can I contribute?

First off, you don't have to contribute anything; however, this is a community torrent, so contributions are welcome and appreciated. Contributions will also prolong the interest of all involved as it was intended as being a growing collection of amateur male videos and not just a "download it once and I'm done" sort of thing. As fresh content is added, regular contributors will also get access to the updated .torrent file before it's released to the public.

You can contact me via PM (see below) if you have content you'd like to contribute and we can work out the details. In the beginning, I realize it's going to be tough to know what's in the torrent already without having access to all of it, but we'll do our best to eliminate duplicates and assist in the process of getting your content added to the torrent.

What you can contribute is anything that's in the realm of amateur, male, legal videos. We can't stress that last point enough and will not, under any circumstances, accept videos containing any underage performers, including, but not limited to, clips from professional studios that contain performers who were underage at the time. While clips from professional studios make it to some of the sites already contained in the torrent, we also ask that you not edit professionally released videos into clips yourself and contribute those.

So, how are updates going to work? Am I going to have to redownload the whole torrent every time there's an update?

The torrent updates will be cumulative and the latest version of the .torrent file will always be posted some time after it's been made available to contributors. If you leave the directory structure and files in place to wherever you download your torrents, you should just be able to download the latest .torrent file and your torrent program will just add the new directories and folders. If you want to change directory or filenames, please consult your torrent program documentation for pausing any files you already have (or had, if you deleted them) so you don't download them again.
